{Per Press Association.) Wellington, December 8. A seven-roomed house occupied by Louis Davis, sharebroker, was destroyed by fire last night. Blenheim, December 3. The lad John Rose was committed for trial yesterday for obtaining a gun by false pretences. The charge of presenting the gun at a person in the street was not proceeded with. The doctors who examined the lad pronounced him sane,
