Auckland and News.
[Own Correspondent.] Auckland, November 7. A conversazione, under the auspices of the Auckland Society of Arts, was held in the Choral Hall last evening. Over 500 were present. The Christmas card competitions were placed on view in the south ante-room, and the apartment was inconveniently crowded by groups of ladies and gentlemen, anxious to inspect the exhibits, which numbered about 200 New Zealand productions, by 30 competitors.
