[Reuter’s Telegrams.] Adelaide, November 8. Arrived this morning—Messageries Maritimes Company’s steamship Sydney, from Marseilles, Sept. 24, Melbourne, November 3. The weather is bright and fine, and promises well for the races to-morrow, November 4. Mauritius advices to 19th ultimo report the crop accounts f ivorable, and the yield of sugar satisfactory. The market, however, has a downward tendency. Sydney, November 4. Mr. Parkes has resigned his seat in Parliament and retired from political life, as he is dissatisfied with recent Parliamentary proceedings.
