[Own Correspondent.] Wellington, November 3. About five hundred invitations have been issued for the members ball to-night. Great preparations are being made for the event, which is expected to eclipse anything of the kind held for years. It is whispered there was a question whether Lady Vogel or Mrs. Stout should have precedence when going down to supper, it being thought that the latter, being the Premier’s wife, was entitled to that distinction. It has been settled, however, that Lady Vogel should have that honor. ________
