[Reuter’s Telegrams.] London, October 30. The Bank of England to-day raised the rate discount to 4 per cent. Cairo, October 30. The Ist. Batallion Royal Irish Regiment, Ist. Battalion Royal West Kent Regiment, and Ist. Battallion Gordon Highlanders will ascend the Nile next week for Khartoum.
