[Per United Press Association.] Thames, October 21. The Thames Harbor Board has determined to ask the Government to pass a measure conveying to them a suitable endowment, and also to apply for ruling powers over the district benefited by permanent harbor works. A bill embodying these desiderata will be drafted immediately and forwarded to the member for the Thames. Napier, October 21. Chiarini has invited the inmates of the Old Men’s Refuge, the lunatic asylum, the hospital, and the orphan schools to visit his afternoon performances at the circus, free of charge.
