A LEAPING MATCH Will be held at 3 o’clock in the afternoon. A prize of L 5 is offered to the horse that clears the highest bar, not less than four feet from the ground. Entrance fee, 10s. There will be no match unless there are four or more entries, which must be made at the time of general entries on Tuesday, 14th October. N.B.—No entries will under any consideration whatever be received after the time and place above mentioned. Owners of stock not members of the Society can exhibit in every class excepting Entire Horses, on payment of an entrance fee of ss. for every entry in each class, excepting where otherwise specified. No horses or vehicles will be admitted to the ground, but a paddock will be available on payment of one shilling for each horse. GENERAL REGULATIONS To be Observed at the Forthcoming Show. All entries for the forthcoming Show to be sent in, properly described and classed (including hacks and leaping), to the Secretary, Gisborne, not later than Tuesday, 14th October, at 8 p.m., excepting entries for Farm Produce, which will bo received up to 9 a.m. on the day of the Show. All the exhibits shall be delivered at the appointed place at or before 9 a.m, on the day of the show, except Entries, which may be admitted not later than 12 o’clock, and shall not leave the yards until 4 o’clock on the day of the Show. The price at which exhibitors will sell each exhibit may be slated by the exhibitor when making the entry, and such price will be marked in the catalogue. Applications to purchase exhibits at the price named in the catalogue may be lodged with the Secretary up to 2 p.m. on the day of the Show, and exhibits will at that time be soi l on payment of the purchase money to the Secretary, provided that in case of more than one application the exhibit will be sold by public auction, immediately after 2.80 p.m., all exhibits not previously applied for will be sold to the first person depositing the price thereof with the Secretary. In all cases five per cent, will be deducted from the amount paid to the which will go to the funds of the Association. All hacks entered in < any of ths classes shall be ridden before the. Judges, if requ red. All owners of bulls and entire horses shall take charge of them personally or by deputy throughout the proceedings. The Show will be opened to the public at 12 o’clock, noon I .'
