Reward for Bravery.

[Own Correspondent.] Wellington, October 7. His Excellency the Governor yesterday presented Master William Rankin with a bronze medal and certificate, awarded by the Royal Humane Society, through their Australian branch. The award was made in recognition of young Rankin’s bravery in jumping into the harbor and rescuing a little boy named Pearce, who was drowning.
