(Per Press Association.) Auckland, October 6. In the Supreme Court on Saturday Frank James was sentenced to three years’ imprisonment for forgery. Eight natives charged with stealing £169 from Reupena, being the proceeds of a land sale at Ohinemutu, were acquitted by direction of the judge, as the evidence only disclosed a civil dispute.
