[Own Correspondent,] Wellington, October 4. The North Island Trunk Railway Committee took the evidence yesterday of Mr. Wilkinson, native interpreter. The Committee have now finished taking evidence, but have had a week’s extension of time granted to them by the House to bring up their report.
