GERALDINE RACES. [Own Correspondent.] Timaru, October 8. The Geraldine Race Meeting came off yesterday at Orari. The weather was threatening and the attendance only moderate. The racing was fairly good, and results as appended

Vanguard .. . 1 Tim Whifiier . 2 Minerva . 3 Billy, Princess Royal and Rubina also ran. Vanguard jumped off with the lead and won as he liked by a length. There was a good race for the other places.
