The Auckland Suicide.

[Own Correspondent.] Auckland, September 27. At the inquest on the body of Davidson, who blew himself up with gunpowder, a verdict of temporary insanity was returned. A letter written by Davidson was found in his house, in which he said “ I take this step to avoid prolonged trouble. God bless you all. I can’t get sleep. My son lives five doors above Williams, tailor, Victoria-street. God bless you, my dear Jimmy. This arm bothers me. No rest at night. Best gone. Good-bye, good-bye, to Jimmy.”
