TELEPHONE SPECIALS.
Diocesan Synod of Waiapu. [Own Correspondent.] Napier, September 29. The annual session of the Diocesan Synod of Waiapu was opened on Saturday. There was holy communion administered at St. John’s Church at 11 o’clock, and at 4 o’clock His Lordship the Bishop delivered an address in St. John’s school-room, after which notices of motion were given and other formal business was gone through. There will be a choral service in the Church this evening.
