The following is the programme of the Taranaki Jockey Club Spring meeting, tocome off on Tuesday, October 28th :—Handicap Hurdle Race, of 30 sovs; distance, 1$ miles. Hack Hurdle Race, of 10 sovs; distance, about 1 mile. Flying Handicap, of 50 sovs; distance, f mile. Handicap Steeplechase, of 60 sovs ; distance, about 24 miles. Spring Handicap, of 120 sovs ; second horse to receive 20 sovs from the stakes ; distance, 1| miles. Novel Race of 25 sovs; distance, once round the course. Moa Welter Handicap, of 40 sovs; distance, six furlongs. Consolation Handicap, of 25 sovs ; distance, 1 mile.
