PARLIAMENTARY.

(Per Press Association.) Legislative Council. WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 3. The Legislative Council met at 2.30 p.m. New Government. The Hon. Mr. Reynolds announced that a new Government had been formed, composed of Mr. Stout, Premier and Attorney-General. Sir Julius Vogel, Colonial Treasurer, Post-master-General, and Commissioner of Telegraphs and Stamps. Mr. Richardson, Minister for Public Works. Mr. Balance, Native Minister, Defence, and Lands. Mr. Tole, Minister of Justice. Mr. Reynolds without portfolio. The Government, he added, deferred to the opinion of the Council, and hoped also at no distant date to appoint another member of the Council holding a portfolio. (Cheers.) The Council adjourned at 2.40.
