Ordered to pay the amount in fourteen days, in default four days imprisonment. Costs, 17s. 6d. Nicholas ct- Co. v. Peta Tahou. Mr. Ward for plaintiff. Claim, £ll 35., on a judgment obtained in 1882. Ordered to pay amount by 2nd October, in default ten days’ imprisonment. Costs, £1 Is. A. W. Croft v. L. G. Direy. Mr. Ward for plaintiff. Struck out, defendant having filed a declaration of insolvency. F. Parker v. J. T. Crawford. Judgment summons for 12s. 6d. Ordered to pay 10s. per month, in default one day’s imprisonment. Costs, 7s. 6d. Ball v. Boland. Claim by the Road Board for the amount of a cheque paid as a deposit on a tender, and which was not presented at the Bank until a month after receipt by the Board. Defendant pleaded that no notice had been given of acceptance of his tender for some weeks after the meeting of the Board, and that in the meantime the weather had broken and made it impossible for him to carry out the work. He had therefore, stopped payment of the cheque. The Court gave judgment for the amount and costs, 15s. W. L. Rees v. Murphy. Claim £7 15s. for passage money, board and lodging, cash lent, <fcc. Judgment for plaintiff with costs 10s. Execution stayed for one week. Thompson v. Wrigley. Claim £5 Bs. for rent. Mr. Finn, for defendant, paid L2 10s. into Court. Judgment for defendant, with costs £2 2s. 6d.
