TO-DAY’S SALES. Messrs. Carlaw Smith & Co., held a sale of furniture to-day at their mart. Bidding was brisk, and fair prices obtained. At Messrs. Graham, Pitt and Bennett’s horse eale at Tattersail’s, nine lots out of ten offered were disposed of, but prices were low.
