Gisborne, schooner, Captain Skinner, Auckland Southern Cross, Wellington and Napier, 29th. Thomas Russell, Auckland. Wairarapa Southern Ports, 31st inst. PROJECTED DEPARTURES. Wairarapa, Auckland, 31st Rotomahana Sydney via Auckland, 7th Sept, Omapere, Tauranga and Auckland, 28th Tarawera, Southern Ports, 29th Waiapu, schooner, Captain Nicolas, for Auckland and Coast ports. Southern Cross, Auckland, 29th The Thomas Russell, with a number of cattle and a general cargo, took her departure for Auckland about 11 o’clock. About an hour was spent by the Thomas Russell this morning in trying to get the Waiapu off the sandbank at the mouth of the river. She was unsuccessful. The Southern Cross, from Napiert and Wellington, will arrive to-morrow. The Omapere, from Southern Coast ports, arrived early this morning, and left again shortly afterwards. The Tarawera left Auckland for Gisborne at one o’clock this afternoon.
