Druids—Every alternate Thursday. Oddfellows—Alternate Wednesdays, Foresters—Alternate Tuesdays. Masonic Lodge—Monday nearest full moon. Cook County Council—Second Thursday in each month, Cook County Building Society—Second Wednesday in each month. Gisborne Permanent Building Society— Ordinary meetings every alternate Monday; annual meeting, Monday, August 11th, at 8 p.m. Hospital Committee, second Wednesday in each month. School Committee, first Wednesday in each month. Library Committee, second Wednesday in each month. L.O.L.— Second Friday in each month. Borough Tenders— Turanganui Bridge to be in by 2nd Sept. Forming and metalling portion of Palmerston Road—August 12. Forming and metalling Roebuck Road North —August 12, Plans and specifications of all works can be seen at the Clerk’s office.
