A PROCLAMATION, Whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken, under “ The Public Works Act, 1882,” for a certain work, to wit, the construction of a road in Cook County, Provincial District of Auckland; And whereas the Cook County Council has laid before the Governor the memorial, accompanied by a map, and also the statutory declaration, as required by the said Act: Now, therefore, I, George Marsden Waterhouse, in the name and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor of the Colony of New Zealand, in exercise and pursuance of the powers and authorities in him vested by section eleven of “ The Public Works Act, 1882,” and of every other power and author, ity in anywise enabling him in that behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road ; and that, from and after the day of the date hereof, the land so described shall become absolutely vested in fee-simple in Her Majesty, discharged from all mortgages, charges, claims, estates, or interests of what kind soever, for use as a road. SCHEDULE. Section No. 90.— A1l that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods 36 perches, being portion of Section No. 90, Block IV., Patutahi Survey District; commencing at a point on the eastern side of the road forming the western boundary of said section 5590 links distant from its northernmost corner. Bounded—Easterly by a line, 652 links; South-easterly by a line, 2155 links; generally North-westerly by lines, 1496, 614, and 391 links respectively, to commencing point. Also all that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 1 rood, 8 perches, being portion of Section No. 90, Patutahi Survey District; commencing at a point on the south-western boundary of said section 700 links distant from its south-western angle. Bounded —Generally North-westerly by lines, 1242 and 155 links respectively ; South-easterly by a line, 1361 links; South-westerly by a line, 100 links, to commencing point. Section No. 61.— A1l that piece or parefj Of land containing by admeasurement 3 roods 9 perches, being portion of Section No. 61, Waimata Survey District; commencing at a point on the south-eastern boundary of said section 1059 links distant from the Waipara River. Bounded — North-easterly by lines, 263, 319, 132, and 179 links respectively; Westerly by a line, 75 links; South-westerly by lines, 261, 315, and 205 links respectively; South-easterly by a line, 110 links, to commencing point. Sections Nos. 59 and 60.— A1l that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 acres 2 roods 13 perches, being portions of Sections Nos. 59 and 60, Waimata Survey District; commencing at a point on the northwestern boundary of Section No. 60 distant 1059 links from the Waipara River. Bounded —North-easterly by lines, 8, 173, 229, 317, 388, 243, 229 and 1,286 links respectively; South-westerly by lines 682, 606, 229 313, 418, 256, 231,186, and 47 links respectively ; North-westerly by a line, 110 links, to com. mencing point. Lots Nos. 103 and 102. —A1l that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 8 acres 3 roods, being portions of Lota Nos. 103 and 102, Patutahi Survey District. Bounded—Northerly by lines, 510, 1115, 449, 905, 772, 15, and 123 links respectively ; generally Southerly by lines, 130, 828, 916 453, and 1642 links respectively, to commencing point. Lot No. 102.— A1l that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 2 roods 20 perches, being portion of Lot No. 102, Patutahi Survey District. Bounded—Northwesterly by a line, 900 links ; Easterly by a line, 92 links ; Southerly and South-easterly by lines, 438, 387, and 65 links respectively, to commencing point. Lot No. 112.— A1l that piece or parcel land containing by admeasurement 1 acre 3 roods, being portion of Lot No. 112, Patutahi Survey District. Bounded — Generally Northerly and North-westerly by lines, 104, 852, 728, and 175 links respectively; Southeasterly by lines, 175, 680, 808, and 123 links respectively, to the commencing point. Hlakauri Block.— All that piece or parcel of land containing by admeasurement 10 perches being portion of the Makauri Block, Poverty Bay Highway District, commencing at the southernmost angle of Section No. 4, Block 1., Waimata Survey District. Bounded—-north-westerly by a line, 113 links ; Easterly by a line, 125 links ; Southerly by a line, 115 links to commencing point. Be all the above areas and linkages either more or less; the several parcels of land being situate in the Provincial District of Auckland, and are more particulary delinated upon the plans marked P.W.D. 11500, 11501, 11502, 11503, deposited in the office of the Minister for Public Works at Wellington, in the Provincial District of Wellington. Given under the hand of the Honourable George Marsden Waterhouse, for and on behalf of His Excellency the Governor, and as his duly appointed Deputy, in and over Her Majesty’s Colony of New Zealan 1 and its Dependencies; and istU ’d under the Se>.l of the said Colony, at the Government House, at Wellington, twenty-first day of July, in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and eighty-four.
