[Per Association Telegrams,] Wellington, July 10. It is understood that Messrs. Chapman and Fitzgerald, acting for Mr. G. Fisher, candidate for South Wellington, have served upon Mr. W. Price, a writ,' claiming £5OO damages for slander contained in certain defamtory statements made by Mr: Price to certain South Wellington electors.
