[Per United Press Association.] Napier, July 16. A man named Thompson, who was supposed to have committed suicide by jumping from the Tutikuri bridge about a fortnight ago, has been committed for trial on a charge of forgery. Who the man was who committed suicide is unknown. The body was never recovered.
Auckland, July 16. A son of James Keith, eighteen months old, was accidentally drowned in the Mangatawhire Creek.
