CRICKET.—AUSTRALIANS V. ALL ENGLAND. [Reuter’s Telegraks.] London, July 12. The cricket match, Australians v. All England. was resumed at Manchester this morning, in fine weather, and before a large attendance of people. The Australians, with 7 wickets down, continued their first innings. Midwinter, not out on the previous day, only added 8 to his score, when he was caught. Palmer and Spofforth made a short stand, but the latter succumbed when lie had contributed 13. Boyle joined Palmer, but was soon bowled, and the innings closed, Palmer carrying out his bat for 14. The Australian total as already telegraphed, was 182, or 87 ahead of the Englishmen. The latter went in for their second innings, which lasted until time was called, They had scored 180, with 9 wickets down, the match thus ending in a draw. For the Englishmen most of the batsmen secured double figures, the following being the highest scorers:— Dr. W. G. Grace, b .. .. 31 Barlow, c .. .. .. 25 Steele, o 18 .
