Taylor (Napier), £9,500; Mrs. Compton (Christchurch), £1,346; M. Dixon (Birmingham, England) £22,203. Total, £46,501 9s lid. Assets—Freeholds : Carnarvon, £3,008 ; Picton, £2OO ; Old Custom House Quay, Wellington, £2,000; Manawa run and stock, £35,000 : Halcombe, £BOO ; Courtney place, Wellington, £350 : Cuba-street, £350; Wharema 560 acres, £1,260 ; half acre, Halcombe, £2OO ; New Plymouth, £120; Lamb, ton Quay, £3O. Leaseholds—Willis-street, £2OO : Wanganui, £350. Miscellaneous— Wellington Building Society shares, £120; Patent Slip shares, £200; Wellington Club, £5O ; Bank of New Zealand shares, £1,000; claim against Telford and Co., £137 ; agreement to purchase land, £200; total, £43,775. The following is a synopsis of the estatetotal liabilities, £91143 13s 4d ; total assets, £78,269 13s 6d, made up of book debts, £4,295 10s; cash in hand, £483 13s 4d : furniture, £225 ; stock-in-trade, £29,490 ; property, as above, £43,775 10s ; deficiency £12,873 18s 9d.
