THE PROROGATION.

[Per Press Association.] Wellington, June 24. In the Legislative Council the Public Revenue Bill was passed. Both Houses have adjourned until two o’clock, when prorogation will take place. The Northern members leave by the Hinemoa to-night. Later.—Both Houses of Parliament were prorogued shortly after 2 p.m. to-day by Commission, the Commissioners being Sir Wm. Fitzherbert (Speaker of the Legislative Council), Sir G. Whitmore, Mr. Oliver, and Sir M. O’Rorke. The formal prorogation was until July 24.
