BUCKLAND’S WEEKLY REPORT. [FBOM OUR OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Auckland, June 14. At the Haymarket on Friday last fodder brought from 3s. to ss. the cwt.; chaff, £4 17s. 6d. and £5 the ton ; oats, 2s. 6d. to 2s. lOd. the bushel. Horse stock were in usual supply, and at fair inquiry, and a larger number than usual were sold at auction without reserve, they were all of a medium class, suitable riding or light harness, and brought from £5 to £l7 each, a draught horse was sold for £24. On Tuesday hides and skins were pitched In full numbers, and there was a numerous attendance of buyers, hides ranged from 2|d to 3Jd the lb. ; tallow, 275. 6d. the cwt. ; sheepskins from Is. 3d. to 2s. Bd., pelts, Bd. each. At Remuera on Thursday dairy cattle were numerous, but maintained their value, store cattle were in better inquiry, fat cattle in full numbers, good steers steady, between 225. and 235. per 100 lbs., but plain steers and cows were at 18s. Fat sheep were in moderate numbers, but there was no improvement in value, wethers ranged from 13 s. to 175.; ewes, 10s. to 16s. each. Pigs were in good demand, and sold well.
