It has been ascertained that the Oriental Bank Corporation is indebted to the Associated Bank of this Colony to the amount of £50,000, of which £24,000 is covered by securities. R. B. Fletcher, late mining manager at Sandhurst, who was committed for trial on March 18th, on several charges of embezzlement, was acquitted to-day on the first charge. The hearing of the remaining charges is still proceeding.
