[Per United Press Association.] Dunedin, April 23. At the Palmerston races yesterday, Mr. Kenyon’s horse Naera, fell in the Shag Valley Handicap, and died shortly after. She had won the Palmerston Cup, and she also ran second in the Handicap previously, and looked like winning when she fell. Cotton, who was riding her, escaped without injury. The marc did not move after she fell. Auckland, April 23. At the settling for Autumn Meeting, the principal winners were, Mr. P. !•’. Tancred, £105; Mr. E. Halsted, £261; Major George, £228; Mr. John Marshall, £215; Mr. Lennard, £171: Mr. Robertson, £112; Mr. Standish, £101; Mr. Hoskins, £6O; and Mr. Potter, £57.
