BUCKLAND’S WEEKLY REPORT, [FROff OUfi OWN CORRESPONDENT.] Auckland, April 19. Fodder was at last values, bringing from 8s to 3s Id per cwt; chaff, £4 10s the ton; oats, from 2a 5d to 3s 9d the bushel. Horse stock were yarded in full numbers, but were of low values. No fresh stock was offered, and prices were without change. A small supply of hides and skins maintained late values. Hides ranged from 3d to 44d per lb; pelts, frnm 8d to Is 3d each; wool, to s|d per lb. At Ellerslie, on Wednesday, the young thoroughbred horses belonging to the Stud Co. were freely competed for, and satisfactory prices were obtained for them, but the heavy draught mares and colts sold at low prices. At Drury, on Wednesday, there was a more than average muster of cattle, and prices for dairy stock were good, but stores were dull of sale.’ A few horses sold satisfactorily, ranging in price from £6 to £26 10s. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairv cattle were numerous, those near calving being in good demand. Store cattle were at low values, and fat cattle in greater numbers than required. The trade being fully supplied, bidding was irregular and prices ranged from 14s to 225; bnt the general price for good quality was between 16s and 18s per lOOlbs. Fat sheep were in moderate supply only, and at last week’s values. Fat lambs in their wool ranged from 10s to 12s each.
