CARBINE TOURNAMENT.
A meeting was held last night by the members of the J Battery for the purpose of making the final arrangements with regard to the Carbine Tournament, which is to take place on caster Monday, at the range, at nine o’clock. The following is the Programme of Matches:— 1. J Battery r. All Comers, 3 Prizes 2. Civilian’s Match .. 3 Prizes 3. Publicans’Match .. 3 Prizes 4. Band Match .. .. 3 Prizes 5. Ladies’ Match .. 4 Prizes 6. Running Man Match .. 3 Prizes 7. Running Doer Match.. 3 Prizes 8. Revolving Target Match 3 Prizes 0. Marksmans’ Match .. 3 Prizes 10. Second Class Shots M’ch, 2 Prizes 11. Third Class Shots M’ch, 2 Prizes A refreshment tent and pavillion for ladies will be pitched, and the band will be in attendance. All the valuable prizes will be exhibited in the windows of Messrs. Good and Nasmith shortly.
