I reuter’s telegrams.] INQUEST ON KITCHEN. Melborne, April 9. An inquest has been held at Geelong on the body of Kitchen, driver of the cattle train, who was killed by the Little River collision. The evidence taken showed that “ staff ” regulations have of late been constantly in abeyance. The trial of Biddle, the Waribee stationmaster, for manslaughter in connection with the recent accident, is fixed for July. The proposed official investigation of circumstances of the Little River collision has not yet commenced.
