BUCKLAND’S WEEKLY REPORT. [from oub own correspondent.' Auckland, April 4. The Auckland weekly report at the Haymarket on Friday, March 28th, was as follows :—Fodder was plentiful, prices ranged from 2s. 9d. to ss. the cwt. : straw was in brisk inquiry at full prices ; Oats, from 2s. 7d. to 2s. 9d. : maize, 3s. 9d. the bushel. The horse stock were numerous, and at late values, and ranged in price from 50s. to £4O. At the hide and skin sale, on Tuesday, there was a full supply of hides, with a good enquiry for sound hides; they ranged from 3d. to 4|d. the lb. ; tallow and fat was also in fuller quantity than usual, prices ranged from 18s. to 275. 6d. the cwt.; pelts and skins from 6d. to 4s. 7d. each ; wool, 4sd. to 5Jd. the lb. At Remuera, on Thursday, dairy cows were in full numbers, but better worth from 10s. to 20s. each ; store cattle were at late values; fat cattle were in full numbers, cattle weighing 7501b5., and upwards, were at late values, but lighter weights were lower in price, fully 10s. per head ; a few fat calves were yarded ; sheep were in full number, and in good enquiry, and slightly bettter worth ; lambs were short of requirements ; pigs were in moderate supply, and fully maintained their values. Te averages were :—8 cattle, George Way, £8 10s. ; 7 steers, John Short, £8 14s. ; 1G steers, A. J. Bertram. £8 Is. ; 24 steers, A. A. Company, £7 10s. ; 1G steers, E. B. Walker, £6 15s. ; 24 steers, George Walker, £6 Bs. ; 250 wethers, A. Hastie, 17s. 6d. ; 240 wethers, A. A. Company, 14s. 9d. ; 42 lambs, S. Westney, 155.; 30 pigs, Te Awamutu Cheese Factory, 30s. 6d.
