CORRESPONDENCE.
We do not hold ourselves responsible for the opinions expressed by our correspondents). HOSPITAL MANAGEMENT. TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I am bound to thank you for your able article on the Hospital administration, which clearly discloses a most remarkable state of affairs. I would like to ask you, if possible, to give me some further particulars as to where the money is squandered, and who derives the benefit. Of course, the public have long seen that an abuse exists, and I ask you, now that you have put your hand to the plough, to thoroughly expose the same, as it is only by the powerful aid and influence of the Press that such a lamentable state of affairs can be remedied; although it sometimes happens that the papers are made a means Of propagating such matters, rather than that of suppressing them. Unless some satisfactory explanation is given, both myself and several friends have resolved to withhold any further donations. Hoping that you will devote your attention to this matter, and by so doing oblige.—l am, &c. f Subscribir. Gisborne, April 2.
