[from our own correspondent.] BUCKLAND’S WEEKLY REPORT. Auckland, March 15. At the sale of Mr. Clarke’s farm stock on Saturday, there was a numerous attendance. There was brisk bidding throughout, paiticularly for the implements, which were of the best class obtainable and in perfect order. Cattle and horses were all fairly competed for, with the result of obtaining the whole, and the prices were 25 per cent, over the owner’s valuation. At Newmarket on Friday a few dairy and store cattle were yarded, and these were without alteration in values. Fat cattle in full numbers and steers fully maintained late values, but cows and heifers were at something lower prices. Store sheep were plentiful and at low values, aged ewes ranging from 3e. to 4s. 6d., and lambs from 2s. 3d. to 3s. each. Fat sheep were plentiful, but none of choice quality; late values were obtained. Fat lambs in full number with brisk enquiry, and prices ranged from Bs. to 16s. each. Fat calves were plentiful and required, and prices ranged from 20s. to 40s. each. Pigs were scarce and full values. Tbe averages were : 7 oxen, James Taylor, £lO ; 16 steers, Auckland Agricultural Company, £8 165.; steers, E. Allen, £7 165.; 16 steers, Grace and Parker, £7 7s. 9d.; steers, G. Clark, £7; 21 calves, E. Allen, 365. 6d.; 70 hoggets, Bosanko Bros., 13s. 6d.; 50 lambs, J. Kimpon, 14s. ; 27 lambs, J. Manning, 14s. 6d.
