Autumn meeting came off on Saturday, at Flemington. The following are the results of the principal events: — Leger Stakes.—Martini-Henri, 1; Off-color, 2 ; Archie, 3. The other starters were Wheatmeal and Sardius. Martini-Henri led past the stand the first time and increased his lead to six lengths at the river-turn, Off-color following. On entering the straight MartiniHenri was still leading, and came in an easy winner, hard held, by a length. Time, 3 mins. 24Jsecs. Martini-Henri was ridden by Henry Hales. Newmarket Handicap.— Maliva, 1; Le Grand, 2; Clap-trap, 3. Segenhoe and Maliva led at the tan-crossing, with Olgo, Victress, and Lord Wilton next. At the straight Clap-trap and Le Grand emerged from the crowd and passed Segenhoe, who held second place. Maliva, however, retained the lead, and came in an easy winner by a neck.
