Ireland; Fraser, and Co. report of the sugar market as follows :—The market is dull and no business is being done; The winter prospect is favorable for the coining season. Freights to Australia; 20s. per ton. There have been no clearances for New Zealand since last report. The stocks of sugar in hand are now estimated at 39,000 tons, Messrs. 0. S. Ross and Co., of this city, report the sale of kauri timber ex ships Vision and Grassmore at the following average prices, at per 100 super,:—Hewn logs, 125.; sawn flitches, 14s. 6d.; sawn boards, lin., 18s,; ditto, Ijin, to Bin., 16s, (Id. The market is dull. Sydney, Feb; 28; New Zealand wheat has fallen to 3s. 4d. per bushel, and New Zealand oats to 2s; 9d, Maize remains at 4s; Sugar Company’s No. 1 pieces remain at £34 per ton. Adelaide, Feb. 23. Wheat is quoted to-day at 3s. lid. to 45., f.o.b.—market quiet; flour — town brands, £9 12s. 6d. to £9 155.; country ditto, £8 10s. to £8 12s. 6d.
