IE AROHA MISES. [By Tilmbaph—Own Cobbsspondents.] Te Aboha, Feb. 14. The second parcel of stuff for the Moa No. 1 was finished last night, and to-day the extra five head of stampers have been taken up bv the Colonist, which now employs fifteen head. The balance are still running for the New Thames, Feb. 14, Sharemarket. —Deep Level Cross, sellers ss. 2d.; Imperial, 155., sellers 165.; Cambria, is., sellers Is. Bd., buyers Is. Manthuu.—SOlbs. of specimens were obtained to-day from the hanging-wall leader, which is 15 inches thick. Cambria. —The shaft is down 25 feet. The winze has been sunk 85 feet. The lode is 4 feet wide, well mineralised, and the surrounding country is good. Coromandel, Feb. 14. Vuabd’b have sent 19 tons of quarts to the Matawai battery, and the show on the plates is excellent. There is also a parcel of picked ■tone to go through. Matawat.— Tha manager reports 40 tons in the paddock and lOOlbs. of picked stone to hand. Will start crushing as soon as Visard's have finished. Success ar® getting out good stone but no rich haul. The reef is somewhat large, showing more stone, New Colonial.—The manager is still getting good prospects. He is anxious to have a crushing as soon as possible to test its value, but at present the road is blocked, .... Kapanoa are taking a few pounds of |nch stone occasionally from the old Kapanga reef. The general dirt is shaping very fairly. Coeby have not obtained anything very rich from the stopes, in the low level, but the reef looks well, and likely to improve. The drive going ahead is still on a splendid reef. Gold may be got any moment. Union Beach have a grand reef in the face of the drive on the Venus. It is full of mineral, which the manager intends to save and put through the battery. The reef has Sie off the course a bit. It will be longer corning to a junction with the black reef, e drive On the latter is now in splendid Country, and has opened out a good deal, and shows strong indications of making a junction with some other leader before long; ~ Just in Time are getting good payable stuff from the winze on No. 1 level, but ro specimens have come to hand. They nave operations in the winze on No. 2. No great result at present. Albion.—The workmen are making good progress driving on the slide. There is every indication of gold. The manager is confident of getting gold when the junction is reached.
