(beutzr's telegrams.) Melbourne, Feb, 20. The Wairarapa arrived on Monday night from the Bluff. The P. and 0. s.s. Sutjet (with the Brindisi males, dated London, Jan. 11) arrived this tnorning. Sydney, Feb. 20. The Wakatipu arrived from Wellington yesterday morning.
'Per Press Association.! Wellington, Feb. 20. The ship Invercargill, Capt. Muir, arrived from London to-day, eighty-nine days out. A lad named A. Sinks died of consumption during the voyage. Christchurch, Feb. 20. Arrived: Star of the South and Eliza Firth, from Greymouth. Auckland, Feb. 20. The Waikato Coal and Steamship Co. has had a new steel steamer built in London for the West Coast coal-trade. She is a vessel of 800 tons register, of light draught, and will carry 200 tons of coal on a six-feet water-line. Her name is the Thomas Russell. She left London on the 28th December, and was to oome through the Channel and call at King George’s Sound; therefore she may be expected in Auckland next month.
