JACOBS V. C. D. BERRY. Claim £4 4s. Mr. Brassey, for the plaintiff, said he had received notice yesterday that the account would be settled. The amount had been paid into Court since txie sitting of the same. His client was a work-ing-man, and had come a long distance to attend the Court. Undcr the&e circumstances he must ask for costs. Costs allowed—£l 7s. WALLACE V. C. D. BERRY. Adjourned until Feb. 26. Dcx’eidant to pay costs, 13s 6d. Mr. Nolan appeared for plaintiff. FRASER V. HUDDLESTONE. Claim £3 4s. 6d. Judgment for the amount with costs. THELWALL V. ALLANACH. Claim £4 Is. 9d. Mr. Finn for plaintiff. Judgment for amount and costs. DUFAUR AND CO. V. HARRIS AND LINCOLN. Claim, £7 6s. Mr. Nolan appeared for plaintiffs. Ordered to be paid in one month, in default one month’s imprisonment. LUCAS V. KEATING. Claim, £6l Ils. 6d. Mr. Brassey appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. McDougal! for the defendant. After a lengthened hearing, his Worship gave judgment for the amount, without prejudice to the defendant’s claim for board, and costs, £4 3s. TEAT AND FRIAR V. JAMES. Claim, £1 195., on a judgment summons. Ordered to be paid within one month. POLICE V. PRIESTLY. Stephen Priestly was brought up, charged with the larceny of sundry articles, valued at 355., from the premises of Mr. Jas. Browne, in the Gladstone Road. Mr. McDougall appeared for the defendant. After the charge had been read over, the prisoner was remanded until Thursday next. Bail was allowed—the prisoner in his own recognisances, and two sureties of £25 each.
