Mr. Brassey appeared for the plaintiff, and Mr. McDougal! for the defendant. After a lengthened hearing, his Worship gave judgment for the amount, without prejudice to the defendant’s claim for board, and costs, £4 3s. TEAT AND FRIAR V. JAMES. Claim, £1 195., on a judgment summons. Ordered to be paid within one month. POLICE V. PRIESTLY. Stephen Priestly was brought up, charged with the larceny of sundry articles, valued at 355., from the premises of Mr. Jas. Browne, in the Gladstone Road. Mr. McDougall appeared for the defendant. After the charge had been read over, the prisoner was remanded until Thursday next. Bail was allowed—the prisoner in his own recognisances, and two sureties of £25 each.
