TELEGRAPHIC SHIPPING.
[Per Press Association.] Wellington, Feb. 14. The barque Waimea, Capt. Canese, from London, came into harbor this morning. The passage has been uneventful. The barque Peebleshire. Capt. Miller, from Glasgow, is off the Heads. Auckland, Feb. 14. Sailed—Energy, for Greymouth. The yacht Toy was discovered on fiio today while lying at anchor, and the fire was not extinguished till the vessel was considerably damaged. The origin of the fire is unknown. TniABU, Feb. 14. H.M.S. Espeigle arrived here at 8.30 this morning. She was at once brought inside the breakwater and anchored in 22 feet, drawing 16| feet. Members, of the Harbor Board and Borough Council went on board to pay their respects to Capt. Bridge, after which the public were admitted till 4 o’clock, at which hour she sails southward. A banquet is to be held at 2 o'clock, at which the captain and four officers will attend.
