Tinasserun is being chartered to supply the place of the Triumph till the Company’s new steamers are ready. Auckland, Feb. 8. At the launch of the three-masted schooner Waireka (150 tons) at Mechanics’ Bay, when she was half-way down the ways she lurched to starboard, and the ways fell from under her. In spite of all efforts she now remains hard and fast. Hokitika, Feb. 8. The Hinemoa with the Governor passed here this morning, and signalled all well.
