All protests to be accompanied with the deposit of £2, to be forfeited if the protest is considered frivolous. Two horses to start in each race or only half the money will be given. Hack shall mean a horse that has never started in a weight for age or handicap race of the value of £5. Nominations for Hurdle Race and Waiapu Handicap to be in the hands of the Secretary, together with entrance-fee, not later than 8 p.m. on the evening of the Bth Feb. Nominations must contain the name, age, description, and pedigree (if known) of the horse, and colours of the rider. All nominations must be under sealed cover, addressed to the Secretary of the Waiapu Race Club, Waipiro, and endorsed entry for Waiapu Races. No delayed nominations will be received.
