Miss Woolley, Rotorua, for South, Passengers—Mr. and Mrs, Smith, Mrs. Bote, Messrs. A. Forbes, Carson, Miss Dam, Miss H. Dickey, Miss Symons, Sharpe, G. Turner, Mr. and Mrs. E. Smith, 2 children, F. Gall, Marter Buchanan 2, Edmonds, Mr, and Mrs. Cooke. Masters Halcombe, T. M‘Linghlin. Christchurch, Feb. 5. The New Zealand Shipping Co. have received the following cablegram :—Tongariro arrived at Madeira, all well, at 4 p.m. on February 4th. The refrigerator was working well, and the meat is in prime condition. The British King arrived at Rio Janiero, all well, at 5 p.m, on February Ist, and sailed at 7 p.m. on February 2nd. The refrigerator is working satisfactorily, and the meat is in prime condition. The Tongarira thus made the run from Lyttelton to Madeira in 33 days 11 hours, including stoppages, and the British King to Rio in 22 days 8 hours. The Company are advised that the Deva sailed for Auckland prior to February 4th ; the Waimate sails for Port Chalmers on February 7th; and the following are now on the berth at London—Glance, loading for Auckland; Lurline, for Wellington; Dragon, for Lyttelton. Lyttelton, Feb. 5. Arrived—Reward, from Wanganui; Wanaka, from Port Chalmers. Sailed — The Wairarapa, for Dunedin; Wakatipu, for Port Chalmers. The barque Ada Melmore left last night, with a cargo of wool, for London.
