The New Zealand Shipping Co. have received cable advice that the Ruapehu arrived, all well, at Tenerlffe, at 6 a.m. on Thursday, and sailed again at 6 ?.m. the Mme day. The Sarah W. Hunt seamen positively refuse to return to the vessel, and are endeavoring to obtain work In Christchurch. The Aniarican Consul Intends holding an enquiry into the complaints made by the man Rgainst the captain of the vessel. At the enquiry held this afternoon, by the acting American Consul, into the ehatges made by the shipwrecked sailors against the captain of the Sarah W. Hunt, the proceedings wore private. Auckland, Jan. 21. Arrived : the Saxon, from Tonga. Bailed ; the Alcests, for New York, Greymouth. Jan. 2h The new steamer Mawheni has arrived he e direct from the Cape, She i» one of Captain William’s Hlaok Diamond lino. (Rsem*a Telegrams) ADKLami, Jan. 21. The P. and O. s.B. Riverina has arrived with London mails to Dec. 14.
