THOMAS’S CARBOLISED SHEEP DIP, Manufactured by Hood A Co., Melbourne, ESTABLISHED OVER TWENTY YEARS, rjAHE DIP was awarded the Gold Medal at the Adelaide Exhibition, the Silver JL Medal at Geelong, and received Honorable Mention at the International Exhibition, being The only Dip Deemed Worthy of Notice by any of the Juries. The Cheapest Sheep-Dipping Specific known, costing only Two Shillings for every Hvndbed Sheep dipped. The most successful application for the destruction of Tick, Scab, or Lice—one dipping only being necessary for Tick or Lice. SOLUBLE IN COLD WATER. This Specific does not stain the Wool, it increases she Weight of the Fleece, the Quality of the Wool, and improves the Health of the Sheep treated with it, and in the Auction Room a higher price is obtained for the Wool, through its superior •• handling ” over that of sheep dipped with any other composition. The introduction of Cartelising into its composition cannot be too highly estimated. It is an extra active agent, powerful in arresting any tendency to scab, and, as a disinfectant, of course stands pre eminent. At the same time, it promotes tbe health of the Sheep and stimulates the growth of Wool—the quality of which it improves so materially that instances can be adduced where as much as three-pence a pound has been obtained for Wool where this Specific was used over that where other Dips were applied. As a remedy for Scab or Tick, this Dip has become celebrated, and has established itself as by far the cheapest and moat successful Specific known. Care should be taken that the Composition is thoroughly dissolved, which is easily don e by stirring well in a small quantity of water before adding tbe bulk. II the water used b e hard or brakish, a little soda or potash may be added before dissolving the Composition. For the cure of Tick, Lice, or Fly, one dipping in a solution made in the proportion of One Pourd to Fifteen Gallons, and prepared as above, will be found thoroughly efficacious, Testimonials to be seen at office, PRICE: ONE SHILLING PER POUND, In Tim of 15, 50, and lOOlbs.
