LAND BALE.
The sale of town sections on the Whataupoko Block on Thursday afternoon was well attended. The bidding for sections on Blocks A and B was pretty brisk, and extravagant prices wefe realised. The following ia tht result of the sale;—
The remainder of the sections in this Hook failed to find purchasers. Block D.
The remainder of the sections were passed in for want of a bid. Matawhzbo B.
IW. H. Tucker, lot 1, 5 acres, £25 an acre. - Ponsford, lot 2, 5 acres, £B2 an acre. W. H. Tucker, lot B,loa. Ird. 15p., £lO an MN. Lota 4,5, 6,7, 8, and 2 were passed in. Harare 8. All the sections in this block were passed in, no offer being made. Pouawa Block. * AU the sections in this block wereTpaoMd in, no offer being made. ■ 3K Leasehold Property. The leasehold farms in the Whataupoko, part of Matokitoki Block, and the Hapara No. 3 were passed in, no offer being made. Grazing Right. The grazing right in Waimata South, East, I and North, and Matawhero No. 1 were passed | in, no offer being made. Mangaheia No. 1, I 16,551 acres, was let to Mr. Common at £l4O ' ay«u. Total for Whataupoko, £4,957. Total for Matawhero B, £531185.
