Gisborne, 14th Jan., 1884. 930 COOK COUNTY? is hereby given that It is the intention of the Cook County Council to stop certain parts of tho Gisborne-Wairoa Road near Sections 100, 111,112,103, 102, and 99, and to open a new line of ruad near such stopped portions, aud to exchange with the owners of the adjacent lands the laud at* present known as the Public Road, as herein after described. Plans of the proposed deviation of this line of road, and of the laud proposed to be ex. changed, are on view at the office of the Cook County Council, Lowe Street, Gisborne. Any objections to this proposal are to be sent to the office <>f the Council, Gisborne, not later than 15th l ? enru.»ry, 1884. Description of Road Proposed to be Stopped, and of Land to be Exchanged. All those parcels of lain I in the Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 3 acres, 2 roods, and 20 perches, 1 acre, 2 roods, and 32 perches, and 1 acre, 2 roods, and 24 perches, respectively, more or less, situated in the Patutahi Road District; Blocks VI. and VII., Patutahi Survey District, aud being portions of aioad-line 100 links wide, lying between Allotments Nos. 109, 111 and 112, and 103, 102 and 99. Portion containing 3 acres, 2 roods, and 20 perches, bounded towards the north by a line 3809 links, towards the east by a line 123 links, and towards the south by lines 3175 links and 530 links, respectively, to the commencing-point. Portion containing 1 acre, 2 roods, and 32 perches, bounded towards the north-west hy a line 1392 links, towards the north-east by a line 175 links, towards the south-east by lines 140 links, 1404 links, and 150 links, and towards the west by a line 123 links, respectively, to the oommencing-point, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. JOHN WARREN, County Clerk, Gisborne, 19 th December, 1883. 788 COOK COUNTY, is hereby given that it is the intention of the Cook County Council to divert a portion of the Giuborne-Wairoa Road, and for that purpose to close a portion of the said road lying between Sections 87 and 120, and Section 90, Patutahi Survey District, and to exchange with the owners of the adjoining sections the land taken for a road, and that now closed. Description of the Road to be Closed and of the Land to be Exchanged. All that parcel of land in our Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods and 19 perches, more or less, situated in the Patutahi Survey District, in Cook County, and being a lino of road 100 links wide, lying between Sections Nos. 87 and 126, and Section No. 90. Commencing ou the South-eastern boundary of Section 126, at a distance of 670 links, cr thereabouts, from its South-eastern angle. Bounded towards the North-east generally by lines 2,080*5 links and 447 links, respectively, towards the East by lines 390*8 links and 94*5 links, respectively ; and towards the South-east by lines 615 links and 1,496*5 links, respectively, to the commenc-ing-point, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, as the same is delineated on plan No. 3,631, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland, copies of which plans may be seen at the office of the Cook County Council, Lowe Street, Gisborne, and at the office of the Patutahi Road Board.
