COOK COUNTY;. OTICE is hereby given that it is the intention of the Cook County Council to take, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1882, for tire purpose of making a deviation in the line of Gisborn-Wairoa Road, Patutahi, the lands hereinafter described. The nature of the works are side and block cuttings, and road formation to a width of eighteen feet; forming water-tables, culverts, and drains to carry off the surface-water. All person affected by such works, or having objections to such land being taken, are rcouired to set forth their objections, io writing, and Send such writing to the office of the Cook County Council, within forty days from this date.

AU those parcels of land in the Provincial > District of Auckland in the Colony of New Zealand containing by adiheasurement 3 acres 3 roods 1 aero 3 roods, and 2 roods f and 20 perches, respectively, more or less, ■ situated In the Patutahi Road District. ■ Blocks VI. and VII. Patutahi Survey Di. triot, and being road-lines 100 link, wide, traversing sections Nos. 103, 102, and 112, Portion traversing Lots 103 and 102, containg 3 acres 3 roods,-Bounded towards the North by lines 610 links, 1116 links, 449'3 links, 904'8 links, 771'8 links, and 123 links respectively; and towards the South generally by lines 130 links, 828 '2 links, 916 '2 links, 452'7 links, and 1641'7 links respectively to the commencing point. Portion traversing Lot 112, containing 1 acre and 3 roods,—Bounded towards the North-west and North generally by lines 104 links, 852'1 links, 728'6 links, and 175 links, respectively, and towards the Southeast generally by lines 175 links. 680'4 links, 807'9 links, and 123 links respectively, to the commenoing-polnt. Portion traversing Lot 102, containing 2 roods and 20 perches. Bounded towards the North-west by a line, 900 links, towards the East by a line, 92'6 links, and towards the South-east and South by lines 438 links, 386'9 links, and 65 links, respectively, to the commencing-point, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less as the same is delineated on Plan No. 3168 deposited in the Survey Office ’at Auckland. DeBCRIPTION of THZ RoAD TO BZ CLOSED AND OF THE LAND TO BE EXCHANGED. AU that parcel of land in our Provincial District of Auckland, in the Colony of New Zealand, containing by admeasurement 1 acre 2 roods and 19 perches, more or less, situated in the Patutahi Survey District, in Cook County, and being a line of road 100 links wide, lying between Sections Nos. 87 and 126, and Section No. 90. Commencing on the South-eastern boundary of Section 126, at a distance of 670 links, or thereabouts, from its South-eastern angle. Bounded towards the North-east generally by lines 2,080'5 links and 447 links, respectively, towards the East by lines 390’8 links and 94'5 links, respectively; and towards the South-east by lines 615 links and 1,496'5 links, respectively, to the commeno-ing-point, be all the aforesaid linkages more or less, as the same is delineated on plan No. 3,631, deposited in the Survey Office at Auckland, copies of which plans may be seen at the office of the Cook County Council, Lowe Street, Gisborne, and at the office of the Patutahi Road Board.
