For Auckland and Sydney, per Rotomahana, on Saturday, December 15th, at 7 p.ra. For the United Kingdam, Continent of Europe, Asia, Africa, America, the West indie* (via 'an Francisco), also the Sandwich Is ands, on Friday, the 4th January, 1884, at 3 p m. Money orders may be obtained and letters registered until 2 pm. same day. This mail is due iu London on February Iflrh. The next steamer of the Orient Company leaves Melbourne on Jan. 11th. Correspondence specially so addressed and prepaid the Brindisi rates of postages, vis., eightpence per half-ounce, will he forwarded by •very steamer.
