NATIVE LAND COURT.
(Before His Honor Judge Brookfield and Native Assessor), Wednesday, TARRWA BLOCK. This was an original claim by Pimia Aata, Hrini Kotikoti as an objector, disputed the former's claim. After hearing the evidence on both sides his Honor tetired to consider the case and eventually gave judgment in favor of Pimia Aata. and whoever she liked to put In. Pukukonga and Kaupapu Blocks were adjourned until Thuraday. OTAHU BLOCK. When this, which is an original claim, was called on only one applicant appeared to aak that it might be adjourned until the following day, so »s to give the other applicants an opportunity of appearing. Adjoarued accordingly. PAPAHANHANGA BLOCK. Upon thia original claim being called on, Mr. Reardon attended before the Court and objected to produce the plan uuti! the curvey was firat paid for. The cost was £65. Otene Pomare agreed to pay £2O as progress payment. This having been accented, the hearing of the case proceeded, and Eru Pukata appears in support uf hu uwu and others' claim. Wl Pukaraua, Otene Pomare, Mrs. Gannon, and Pilni Aata appeared as objectors. Eru Puinita was willing to admit Pimia Aa'a and her people, but objected to the oLhers. The further hearing was adjourned until Thursday. (Before Judges Williams, and O'Brien.) Tuesday. WHAITIKI BLOCK. Mr. Jone* acted aa Interpreter, and Mr. Lucas as Clerk of the Court. The further hearing uf the abovj# block was resumed un Tuesday morning/ Tipora Tuwahio continued his evidence in support uf his claim, on the termination of winch he underwent a lengthy examination by Wi Pere, which occupied the whole of the d-iy. The hearing of the block again occupied the whole of yesterday.
